Why is Rumpelstilzchen so often cast as the antagonist when the true danger in the story is a greedy king willing to sacrifice anything for wealth and power? What if Rumpelstilzchen was never the villain at all, but a misunderstood figure waiting to tell us his side of the story?

Created for multi-generational audiences, the production integrates live music with marionettes, hand puppetry, shadow play, and immersive projection — building a theatrical world in which story, image, and score unfold as one.

The work explores themes of resilience, greed, power, and the reclamation of misjudged histories. At its heart, Rumpelstilzchen’s Fairy Gold asks a simple but urgent question: If stories come from the world of imagination, what would happen if there weren't any stories left?
